I have completed 5 missions of this game so far, and if this keeps up, it´s flawless. Gameplay mechanics are the soul of this game, but other aspects such as graphics, sound effects or character design are also at a very high level. That´s what videogames should be all about in the end. Here you will die time after time, but if you play smart, focus and use al of your resources, you will get through every challenge you are presented with, and it will be most satisfying. I´m honestly tired of games where it is almost impossible to get killed. The challenge it presents is also a very strong point. Add to that an infinite amount of options, weapons, abilities, stances, items, that blend together perfectly and relate wonderfully to enemies and level design, and you have videogame action nirvana. Add Games with combat as fast paced as this tend to be a bit messy if not a lot, but Nioh´s battle system is also extremely precise and slick.
